Rev. Dr. William B. Pfohl
Bill Pfohl was appointed senior pastor at Jesse Lee Memorial in 2000 after serving churches in Trumbull, Ct. and Mt. Kisco, NY. He recently shared his five year vision for the church’s ministry highlighting the Methodist priority of practical holiness. “The goal is to connect people inside and outside the traditional church with the deep love of God so that we all become conduits of goodness wherever we are.” Bill’s favorite acronym is GROWING SELF which stands for God Recreating Our Worlds In New Glory: Secure, Empowered, Leading, Followers. Bill received a BS in psychology from Trinity College, a Masters of Divinity from Yale University, and Doctor of Ministry from Drew University. The primary focus of both his formal and informal studies has been the pursuit of understanding and encouraging people on the path to genuine human authenticity. His doctoral paper entitled “Joy Soup for the Chicken Soul” provided him with an opportunity to express the wonder of God’s creation in women and men and the journey toward physical, emotional, spiritual wholeness. He believes that the life of faith is not a theoretical enterprise, but a practical celebration in which we choose to receive God’s infusion of capacities to both love and hope in faith. Bill is an avid outdoorsman enjoying hiking, backpacking and canoeing especially in backcountry environments. He gardens, celebrates Pittsburgh sports teams, and is excited about advancing his culinary skills. The greatest manifestation of God’s grace in his life has been the journey of parenting his four children.

Heidi is an experienced public relations executive who leverages strategic storytelling to shape her clients’ brands and build their businesses. Her favorite part of her work is establishing emotional connections between brands and the people those brands were made for.
She has more than 20 years of experience as a vice president at Ketchum and in her branding and communications consulting practice, Madison On Main Communications, doing award-winning work with clients in travel, personal finance, healthcare, luxury brands, and food and wine industries.
In her personal life, Heidi actively works to serve God and for years she wanted to extend that commitment into her professional life as well. This dream seemed like a virtual impossibility, but all things are possible with God.
Just as the COVID shutdown suspended Heidi’s corporate client work, Jesse Lee (located a mile from her home) posted the two-year, grant-funded job to serve as communications manager and Heidi jumped at the opportunity.
She considers this job an answer to prayer and feels blessed to help share the story of Jesse Lee Church living its mission to be a beacon of God’s love here at home and around the globe.

Dale grew up on Long Island and spent many happy summers on the beach. She attended Hofstra University where she met her husband Alex. Dale started her career in New York City as a Systems Engineer for a computer system manufacturer and eventually became Regional Director of Marketing covering New York, New England and as far west as Michigan. She eventually went into sales focusing on IBM mainframe attached subsystems. Her daughter Nicole was born in 1992, and after a year and a half of missing some of her precious milestones, Dale decided to retire from corporate life and become a full time Mom (and never regretted it). When Nicole started school full time, Dale looked for work that was local and allowed the flexibility to be available for her daughter’s events and the timing was just right for Jesse Lee was looking for a new administrator. It’s now 22 years later! I have thoroughly enjoy being part of the Jesse Lee family; it has been a wonderful and loving experience to be able to contribute to our mission to be a beacon of God’s love, shining light where there is darkness, inspiring hope where there is despair and facilitating healing where there is pain.
