INTERFAITH PEACE CAMP

Jesse Lee Church is happy to announce that we are one of the hosts for the Association of Religious Communities’ (ARC) Interfaith Peace Camp again this year!

For many years, ARC has held this annual camp for 8–11-year-old kids from the Greater Danbury area who come from a variety of faith backgrounds. The camp offers these kids, who might not normally get to go to summer camp, the chance to learn about how different religious groups all have PEACE as a core value of their traditions.

The camp runs from August 1-5, 2021. The kids will learn about the rituals and practices of Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Unitarian Universalist. The kids will be at Jesse Lee Church learning about Christianity on August 3 from 9AM-3:30PM.

We have a fun program for the kids that includes music, skits, crafts, and discussions about our faith.
