Inclusion
Jesse Lee Church is proud to have been one of the first United Methodist Churches in Connecticut to work toward becoming an open and affirming denomination.
We believe all people are created in the image of God, God’s love extends to all people, and all people are of sacred worth. We welcome and affirm all people regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, immigration status, political affiliation, or cultural background.
In our collective journey toward Christlikeness, we abide by John Wesley’s Three Simple Rules For Holy Living:
1. Do no harm.
2. Do good.
3. Stay in love with God.
By practicing these tenets in our daily lives and incorporating them into church operations, we are able to create spaces and places where love, justice, and wholeness can be realized.
You are welcome here.
