Jesse Lee Church Columbarium

Jesse Lee has been the church home of many generations. Here, we celebrate all the milestones of life from the birth and baptisms of babies, to confirmation of kids ready to commit to following Jesus, to marriage and all the steps in between. We also provide a resting place for beloved family members in our columbarium just outside the Narthex.

This sacred space includes a prayer walk and a lovely garden making it a peaceful setting for prayer, thanksgiving and meditation.

A columbarium is a burial vault that contains urns that hold cremated remains. The word comes from the Latin word ‘columbary,’ which is a structure for the nesting of doves. Just as the dove is the symbol of God’s spirit and peace, a columbarium is a place where the peace of God’s spirit is a comforting presence in this place of rest.
