October 6-8 (Saturday-Monday) is the ASP-type Sleep-at-Home “trip”
This retreat weekend here at the Church allows people who can’t experience ASP in Appalachia, or who want to try out a similar experience before committing to 9 days in July to do so here. Veteran ASPers are encouraged to participate as well. The work focus will be making Wesley Hall handicapped-accessible with a walkway over the portico. THREE MEALS EACH DAY PLUS EVENING GATHERING are provided. The previous similar ASP-type sleep-at home trips have been repairing the exterior of Wesley Hall and re-construction of the Carriage House and Chapel Buildings. The weekends have been transformational extravaganzas. This is an opportunity to seize. Come bring your skills or come and learn new skills. We hope you will join us.
